Simple Shutdown Scheduler is :
- light, because a background application like this should not take 50 MB of memory or 1% of CPU !
- simple to use, because the best application are the easiest and more intuitive to use :)
- secure (all passwords are saved encrypted, and passwords are never readable as text in memory)
- multi-threaded, so the application will never hung
Immediate action
The most basic feature of SSS is to launch an immediate action.
On the top of the window, the scheduled scenarios are displayed. You can enable them or not using the checkboxes.
Scheduled action
The second tab of the GUI let you specify a scheduled scenario.
You can configure the scenario with a specified date & time, or via a countdown. The listview on the bottom of the window shows errors which may happen with remote scenarios (for example if the password is wrong).
When you click on 'Add Scenario', it will automatically be saved.
